I am a trained journalist with many accolades for my English proficiency. I have been teaching English full time for over a year and have familiarized myself with the English language as well as teaching methods. I provide fun and quality learning environments for all ages and skill levels, and for all purposes. I also love reading and writing, and have trained myself to teach English for SAT exams. I have awards for my English abilities and graduated with a distinction in English in high school. I graduated at the top of my Journalism class in college, too.

I have always loved the English Language. English was always my favourite subject throughout school and it was always something I looked forward to learning. In high school I received over 90% for English with it being one of my highest achieving marks for a subject. I also continued with English in university and minored in etymology for a year at UCT.

I am a qualified English Teacher and will take the time explain the content to you in a fun and simple way. From personal experience, I find English needs to be taken from a different approach. An approach that is FUN, VIBRANT and YOUTHFUL. When planning English lessons my lessons are creative and interesting, being a young female I know that I have the ability to create these lessons which capture the leaners attention but continually incorporate the core features of the curriculum that learners need to obtain

I have tutored in this subject for over 6 years. We get creative and ensure that the individual learns and retains the vocabulary learnt. I also ensure that the individual develops confidence in their vocabulary skills.

I have an excellent vocabulary. I was fortunate enough to have studied at a private school and learn from people who spoke english all day everyday and at a high level. I speak English every day and like to show off the plethora of words I know.

I really enjoy meeting people from different countries and learning about other cultures. Among many other hobbies, I enjoy reading English books, listening to music and watching movies. If I could add having an extensive vocabulary to my CV, I would. Luckily, I've found just the place to show that off! Being an avid reader of books, newspapers, academic papers, articles and so forth has rewarded me with the large vocabulary I now claim ownership of.
