Hello! I am Cara and I am an accredited English tutor with over a thousand hours of experience teaching all ages and skill levels. I have taught all kinds of classes, from basics to business. I live in Cape Town where I teach full-time at TutorABC, where I have been employed since October 2018. I love my job because it utilizes my creative faculties and my emotional intelligence - I find it genuinely rewarding. In my personal time, I enjoy studying, skateboarding and making art. I have devised my own strategies for making lessons interactive, enjoyable and comfortable for individuals and classes of up to six students. I am an academic and a creative, I graduated at the top of my class from CityVarsity with a higher certificate in Journalism. I have received numerous accolades for my English skills, including an award from the English Olympiad. I also have six months of experience looking after children from 3 to 14 years old, so I consider myself to be good with kids.

I am a trained journalist with many accolades for my English proficiency. I have been teaching English full time for over a year and have familiarized myself with the English language as well as teaching methods. I have awards for my English abilities and graduated with a distinction in English in high school. I graduated at the top of my Journalism class in college, too.
