I have more than 7 years experience teaching English. I have taught students from many countries such as Japan, Philippines, China, United States and recently Russia and the rest of Europe. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Education Specializing in Language.

I'm truly passionate about young children. They need a strong foundation in order to properly grasp later concepts. I am studying Foundation Phase Teaching, and will apply all knowledge acquired to my tutoring. Not all learning styles work for all children, I know that. If you have an active child, I will adjust my tutoring to suit that. If you have a visual child, I will adjust my tutoring to suit that. I work with your child on order to achieve high results. I have tutored before, and the results were astounding showing almost 20% progress in less than a month. I will be there for all your child's academic needs.

I am a second year student, studying Foundation Phase education. I absolutely have a passion for working with children. I am currently working as an Au Pair. I have been working for the same family since January. I also have +- 1,5y experience working with Down Syndromes/ special needs children. I can give tutoring for Afrikaans, English, Mathematics and LO for Grades R-8.

I am a mature lady who relates well to people of all ages, especially children with whom I love working and in whom I build a passion and love for learning. I am patient and deal with the children in a calm manner teaching them the importance of determination and that nothing is impossible. I am currently studying teaching (Foundation Phase), through UNISA. I have also done a semester long course in mathematics at the University of Stellenbosch.

Completed my Bachelors of Education (B.Ed) at UNISA in 2014. Completed my Honours in School Management through UNISA, as well as a Bachelors of Theology (B.Th) through SATS. Currently completing my Masters at UCT in Education Policy, Leadership & Change. I am concerned about socio-economic injustices and use my passion, i.e., being a patient teacher, to address these issues.
