Whether the subject is science, math or basic study skills, I break material down into easy-to-understand concepts. Hi, I'm Gemma :) I am a friendly, down-to-earth person and I'm passionate about science and education. I have a BSc Hons (first class) in Biological Sciences from the University of Cape Town (UCT) and I'm currently studying towards a masters in Conservation Biology (also at UCT). I grew up in Malawi and went through the IGCSE and A-level system, graduating with A's in Biology, Chemistry, Geography and Maths. I have several years of varied teaching experience. I am a trained CELTA (English as a foreign language language) teacher with 1 year of teaching experience, and during my undergrad I worked as a tutor for first year Biology courses. I have experience teaching all ages from young primary school children through to mature adults. Hi there! I am Michaela, a 21-year-old honours student in Genetics at Stellenbosch University. I matriculated with 91% in Core Mathematics and also passed Advanced Programme Mathematics - both IEB Curriculum. I also achieved 78% for Life Sciences, and then completed a BSc in Human Life Sciences. I am theology student at SATS (South African Theological Seminary), where I am currently completing my postgraduate studies after having successfully completed my Bachelor's in Theology.
