I am a qualified Mathematics teacher who is very passionate about her subject. I thoroughly enjoy teaching one-on-one, and love to see the sparkle in my students' eyes when they learn something new! I taught Mathematics for grade 8 and 9, and Mathematical Literacy for grades 10 and 11. This involved a lot of preparation and working through many problems and examples with my learners. Focus was placed on mastering the basics and being able to represent Mathematical reasoning when responding to questions.
Mathematics Tutor
I tutored grade 10 - 12 learners after school hours. This included assisting them with homework, preparing for assessments, and concentrating on rectifying any problem areas. I provided them with additional material to work through and often provided unique examples. My teaching methods are tailored to my students' differing learning styles, and I always did my utmost best to encourage and motivate them to work hard to achieve their goals.
