Hi. My name is Lauren. I am 35 years old. I was born in South Africa and I live in Benoni, Gauteng. I have two degrees in occupational therapy, the second of which is a Master's degree from the University of the Witwatersrand. I have been working with children and teenagers between the ages of four and 18 years for the past 12 years, with most of the children aged between five and 13 years. I recently completed a qualification to teach English as a Foreign Language, and the principles are very relevant to teaching English as a Second or Third Language. I can assist children and teenagers to improve their listening skills, comprehension, reading, writing, grammar, sentence construction and spelling in English. I strive to be patient and meet the learners at their level, and assist them to succeed and progress within the lesson. Not all children learn the same way, nor do they learn at the same pace. I can work with children and teenagers who have difficulties in learning and concentration. I am only offering online lessons via Skype or Zoom.

My name is Lerato Mokoma, I ma currently working as an environmental specialist. I have environmental studies background, have obtained B-Tech: Environmental Sciences from Tshwane University of Technology, National Diploma: Environmental Sciences and I also have a sound knowledge of safety management, I have obtained a safety certificate from NOSA. I have always been passionate about teaching, making a difference in people's lives, I regard teaching as a calling.

I love mathematics and have been tutoring for the past 4 years for various organizations and privately. I also have a degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Cape Town, and currently completing my Masters in Structural Engineering. I am passionate about education, tutoring and especially helping others achieve and realize their full potential.

I am a qualified Engineer with a BEng Mechatronics from Nelson Mandela University. I am passionate about helping others and have experience in tutoring learners from Grade 8 - 12 as well as first and second year Mathematics, Physical Science and the Engineering Sciences. The service I provide is a thorough and systematic approach to the worked material by using simple teaching methods. I believe that each student has a unique way of learning and gaining understanding, and it is the duty of the teacher to engage with the student at his/her level. By having a tailor-made approach to each individual student I have found much success in relatively short periods of time. I really enjoy seeing the hard work and effort that students put in be rewarded. Whether it be a low scoring student starting his/her improvement, or a student pushing for distinctions. I am a firm believer in "what you put in, you get out" and as such always encourage students to try their best and apply themselves fully.

I am currently studying education at the university of the Witswaterand to become a teacher. I am very patient and a good listener. during my semester breaks I volunteer to help at a school for the deaf. I am easy to talk to and am very understanding.

As a 3rd year medical student and bachelor of pharmacy graduate, I am a strong believer of helping those around me. I would like to be the help I needed on my journey, beyond just academics. Your wellbeing, mental health and life-coaching are also important aspects when trying to achieve your goals and I am willing to be of help where I can with these as well. Thank you.

I'm a hard working individual aspiring to teach others. I completed my degree in BA Visual Communication Design and would love to teach other what I learned during my studies. I'm a hard worker, very passionate about what I do, and very determined.

I am a (soon to be) postgraduate student from WITS, furthering my studies into Management Accounting through CIMA. I have a great passion for accounting and business related subjects, and I am also very fond of mathematics. I am quite familiar with the professional certifications and the steps that need to be followed in the finance sector, and am more than happy to answer any questions that students or parents may have with regards to those. In my spare time, I find myself playing guitar, gaming, or playing chess if I'm not spending time with my family. I'm a very easy going and relaxed person, and I pride myself on my punctuality and preparedness for anything that I do. I believe that every day, a person must try to improve themselves or their lives in some way, no matter how big or small. My specialties for tutoring are anything to do with accounting, economics, business studies, or mathematics. I have 4+ years of private tutoring experience, and if I could have a dollar for the amount of times I've seen students go from "I can't do this" to "Oh yes, this is the easy stuff", then I'd be retired by now.
