Hello :) I am a graduate from NWU potch campus and will soon be one of UP. I have extensive tutoring experience that I gained throughout my uni career, I volunteered as a math and science tutor for an Afternoon program that aimed to assist underprivileged students with their homework. I was also appointed by the uni as a demonstrator (to lecture a practical component of a Human Physiology module). Finally I was a writing consultant at the North-west University , there I assisted students with their academic writing skills using an online platform as well as in one on one contact sessions.

I finished Matric at Westerford High School in 2015 and received at 92% average for my final NSC Exams - my subjects were English, Afrikaans, Maths, Physics, Biology and Geography. I then went on to study for three years at UCT doing a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Genetics and Computer Science. My final year at UCT was in 2019, where I did a BSc Honours degree in Molecular and Cell Biology. I am hopefully going to start a Masters in 2021, likely in the field of Bioinformatics. Apart from my academics, I am currently completing a TEFL course (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) as well as coaching gymnastics, tutoring and au pairing to save money. I am also a gymnast and have been training since I was little, and I love exercising and baking in my spare time.

My name is Debbie de Beer. I am down to earth, fun and enjoy teaching. I like activities and learning to be fun and memorable. I have taught all subjects from Gr 4 to Gr9. I enjoy Science, Geography, Mathematics, English, Life Orientation and Art. I love sports, cycling, art, music and online gaming.

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as Louis Levinson, a qualified Secondary School Teacher with 13 years’ experience in both Upper Primary and Secondary Schools. While my official title is Technology & Physical Science Teacher, in reality I am also capable to adjust to other roles.
