Hi there, My name is Olivia Ntsuba. I am a freelance dancer, social worker and fitness instructor. I know that none of those job titles are related to each other but I am strong believer in doing everything that makes you happy! I am extremely patient and will go with your pace. I teach fitness classes in the evenings. During the day I mostly home depending on my rehearsal schedule, but most rehearsals are usually in the evenings or on weekends. I volunteer at Childline Wynberg and set a schedule with them weekly according to when I am needed/available.

History was one of my favourite subjects in school and in university. I am a big researcher and documentary person. What makes me best at teaching this subject is my ability to be creative. I have a way of creating stories (sometimes with movement) to help a student retain the information better. By making the content more interesting the workload becomes less draining and more fun.

Afrikaans
My home language is Afrikaans. I grew up in Pretoria and speak suiwer Afrikaans. My schooling from Primary school to High School was in Afrikaans. I did every subject in Afrikaans and received high marks. I love Afrikaans and find it easy to teach and because I was forced to completely change from Afrikaans to English when I entered tertiary, I have a high level of compassion and patience when it comes to teaching this beautiful language.

Biology
I had biology in High School and it was my favourite subject and one of my highest marks. I also studied biology and anatomy after school. I grew up in a family of nurses and have had my nose in biology books since I was little. The subject is one I am passionate about and that I can also give creative ways in retaining the information given. Storytelling and visualisation is a big aspect of my tutoring style. Especially in biology where the visuals are there for you but you need to link the theory and information to it.
