Good Day, My name is Seamus du Plessis and I am 25 years old. I have my honours degree in BCom (Hons) Business Management & my undergraduate degree in BCom Marketing Management. I currently work as a data analyst, but due to lockdown, I am unable to work full-time. I am hoping that I will be able to use my skills and knowledge to help empower young students. I have many years tutoring experience with a wide range of different aged students. I am passionate about learning and the importance of education. Tutoring allows me to help students realize their full potential and build self-confidence. Asides from work, learning and tutoring - I enjoy spending my time playing sports, gaming and I love the outdoors and wild-life. I am happy to tutor online over this lockdown period and help ease the load on parent's who are struggling to balance work and their kids schooling needs. Currently a data analyst with skills within the Google Marketing Platform (Google Analytics, Data Studio, Optimize and Tag Manager etc.), Microsoft SQL and Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint – I pride myself on identifying and delivering insights in order to drive growth. I completed my BCom Marketing Management degree at the University of Johannesburg. I furthered my studies in 2018 with a postgraduate honour’s degree in Business Management with a marketing direction, through UNISA. I made this decision as I am determined to further my skills so that I meet the expectations of my future employers. I work well under pressure and enjoy challenging work that pushes me out of my comfort zone. I am passionate, resilient, determined and always willing to learn. I pride myself on being a responsible person who adheres to all deadlines. I am an outgoing person and I enjoy interacting with a variety of people.
