I have always had a keen interest in Physical Sciences, and I was previously pursuing an MBBCh at the University of Wits before deciding to pursue other career options after three years of undergraduate study. The course was physics and biology - heavy, and I believe my experiences have given me an advantage in this field.

I matriculated with distinctions in the subjects I teach. I also passed these subjects as modules that were part of my degree. I tutor for both primary school and high school students. I will not only help students understand the content of their subjects but also improve their confidence in themselves to achieve their full potential.

I have a Master's degree (MSc) degree in molecular biology, which I passed cum laude (i.e. with more than 75%). My MSc took me 2 years to complete, which gave me many hours of theoretical and practical experience in these subjects.

My undergraduate degree really solidified the foundational knowledge in this field, covering a wide range of subjects and topics. I am therefore well versed in many facets of Molecular Biology as it is a broad field. I also just really have a deep fascination and passion for all things biology and science and delve into further research on my own accord. I also understand that molecular biology can be difficult to understand because it cannot be seen so I have developed my own methods of visualising and understanding the concepts.

I am passionate about Science and currently doing my Phd Molecular Parasitology at University of Pretoria. I am highly motivated, result driven, eager to learn and explore, works well under pressure to meet strict deadlines and a passion for the work I do and excellent interpersonal skills. I have strong interest in molecular biology and microbiology and I aspire to be a Medical Scientist.

I am passionate about Biology! During my undergrad I majored in Genetics, and Ecology and Evolution. I also have a BSc Hons (first class) in Biological Sciences, and I'm currently working towards a masters in Conservation Biology at the University of Cape Town. I have worked as a tutor on undergraduate biology courses and love making biology fun and easy to understand.
