Geography tutors near me

I achieved top of my class from grade 8 through to grade 12. It is an area which I find very interesting. I believe practical exercises improve understanding drastically. These are subjects that I really enjoy and find interesting. I would like to be able to pass on my knowledge in these subjects to someone that might need some help in learning and understanding them.

I would be the best tutor for Geography because it is the core element in my current career as an Environmental Scientist and I did this subject throughout University until Honours. I also matriculated with an exceptional Geography mark. My extended time doing Geography as a university subject and in my career has given me in-depth understanding of the subject as a whole. I am able to explain and breakdown concepts with ease in a manner that can be easily understood.

I believe that i am the best tutor for this subject as i have majored in this subject as well as taught it to High school and Primary School scholars for the last two years at an IEB registered school. I go over and above looking for resources and making learning fun and interactive. i enjoy making PowerPoint presentations and sharing these with the learners.

In matric this was one of my best courses, I achieved 93% as a final mark for geography. I really resonate with this course . It really comes natural to me. I wish to make a student of mine feel the same way as I feel with geography.

I finished my Geography major with a high second class classification last year, and hope that I will end up in that field after completing my post-graduate qualifications. I believe that it is one of the best tools available to learn about the world, and our place in it, and that it can be used to solve challenges at home and abroad.

I did very well at Geography in school and finished Matric with 93% for the NSC Geography exams. I also won the Geography prize at my school every year from 2012 to 2015 for being the best Geography student in my grade. I would feel comfortable helping students with Geography concepts that they are struggling to understand.

I love Geography and the amount of freedom you have for activities. There is so much you can experience off the paper. Like going to a river, mountain, dam, lakes etc. Experiencing Geography first-hand and physically seeing and touching object allows you to learn so much more.

I love travelling and I love teaching. I love learning about the landscape of all the different environments I come across in South Africa and abroad. It is a passion for me and a global transferable knowledge.

I was the top student of the UKZN geography cohort in 2015. My masters, honours and BSc degree were all majoring in geography. I have also achieved a 89% pass for Geography in matric. I am exceptionally passionate about the subject and am able to directly translate this passion into a tutoring experience that is beneficial to my students

I love to travel and Geography is all about the amazing world we live in. It actually goes hand-in-hand with History. I have taught this subject to various grades and there are many fun ways to make the content relevant.
