I am currently a university student at the University of Pretoria and in my first year also took biology modules, so I am very knowlegable in this subject. I know a little more then just basic high school biology and that will come at an advantage.

I am currently studying for a BSc in natural science. I have completed a semester studying zoology and botany at the University of Johannesburg before transferring to Minerva Schools at KGI. I achieved high marks for Life Sciences in my matric results. I also have a passion for zoology.

Biology form most of my childhood and highschool, I grew up in a family with both parents Biology teachers, this has led metodeveloping a passion inbiology and I am really good at explaining the concepts.

I am a passionate educator who is willing to give of my best in order for my students to reach their full potential. Studying is not about only achieving an A symbol. It is about getting the best understanding from that student to reach their full potential. I understand the pressure and anxiety that students experience before a test or an exam and I am able to assist them in that. If one fails to plan one will plan to fail. Studying is about gaining confidence. That confidence lays the foundation of a successful plan.

Biology is a subject that I am very passionate about as I have always enjoyed learning about life around us and how it works. I chose to take biology during high school and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it and I was particularly successful in all my exams. I continued my love for the subject by doing BSc Human Life Science of which I have completed my first year. I believe my love for biology has stemmed from growing up on a farm where I have been witness to all of natures wonderful miracles. This opportunity has given me both first hand knowledge and experience with all sorts of different living creatures, including both animals and plants.

I have a Dean's commendation in Biochemistry and my MSc in Biochemistry. I understand the subject well enough to break it down for highschool learners and university students. I have past experience in terms of tutoring Biology and the related disciplines.

I graduated on top of class in matric ,I got an A on this subject. I received numerous awards thought my high school career for this subject and I have excellent communication skills. My problem solving skills enable me to simplify complex topics and be able to make people understand things better.

I am Bilingual in (English and Afrikaans (home language)) and will have no problem in teaching in either language. I further have Creative problem solving and stress management skills and Encourage fun and practical learning where possible. Biology is about live and what better way to learn about it through practical understanding. A Positive learning process where questions becomes knowledge and knowledge may produce further insight and intuitive thinking is what students require to go out in this world and be the best that they can be. I am result oriented, punctual and reliable. I will help in any way I can and answer questions and explain study material in a fun, short and comprehensible manner. I have excellent communication and team oriented skills and will listen to all the students requirements.

I completed my PhD in Biochemistry and I have been teaching for a while. I worked as guest lecturer in India . I used to teach Microbiology, biochemistry and Food & Nutrition. My analytical approach to biological problems make it very easy to solve.

Biology is very important in our everyday life and is something that everyone should understand. I have a great understanding of it and study it in depth at university. I have always had an interest in it and my results in metric reflect the hard work and understanding I have.
