Biology tutors in Sandton

I currently tutor the subjects of Afrikaans, Geography and Life Science to various High School students from grade eight to Matric. These however are not the only subjects I can teach. I have a BA from Rhodes University with my majors being Environmental Science and Psychology so I can tutor these at a university level if needed.

I am a Bachelor of Science graduate, majoring in Genetics. I am currently employed at the University of Witwatersrand, in the Wits Health Consortium. I have completed grade 12 with 4 distinctions. I was the head prefect of my school as well as the recipient of the DUX award.

I have a good understanding of the Life Science school subject as well as how to approach examination questions and assignments and how it works for grading students, I'm happy to share my knowledge.

Biology was the lesson I most looked forward to during my high school career. I was absolutely fascinated by the material we studied and have a passion for the subject. I would love to help ignite this passion in others. I received a high ‘B’ in my matric year.

My approach to teaching involves revising the basics thereafter moving on to more complex problems which I normally equate to every day real life situations which tends to make the problems more understandable.

I took a great interest in bio and got an A. I find it interesting and can help the student find interesting ways to study it in order to get all the aspects and concepts in. I can help make great summaries and go through many questions to help them in exam time!
