English has always been one of my favourite subjects. I am an avid reader and I am fastidious about grammar, punctuation and the likes! In high school, I did both English first language (FAL) and Advanced Programme English. I achieved a distinction for both. I also have experience in teaching English. I am patient and thorough which I feel are both important skills when teaching English. I hope to instil my love of the language in all of my students!

Got 80s and 90s for English in High School, specialized during University in English writing and literature! I have been tutoring English literature since then, focusing primarily on High School and Junior School English Comprehension!

Matrictulated with over 90% for English. Very passionate to teach for all ages. I have a good grasp of the English language and I am a patient and knowledgeable teacher. I have fun, creative ways of making sure concepts are easily understood.

I passed English with distinction all throughout high school. I am an avid reader, academic and creative writer, and I am very patient! I know it can be a daunting subject to tackle but when taught in an open and relaxed environment both language and literature are a joy to learn and teach.

My name is Joanna and I am a qualified Speech and Language Pathologist/ Therapist. I enjoy working with both children and young adults. I have a passion for helping others and have a very patient and empathetic nature. I have experience in working one on one with individuals since I matriculated. I worked as a teachers assistant in the Uk for one year, where I specifically worked with those children who needed one on one attention. From there , I went to university at the University of Cape Town and completed a BSC is Speech Language pathology. Whilst studying I tutored various students through the years and thoroughly enjoyed helping them succeed academically and developing relationships with them and their families. I am now a practicing speech and language therapist but enjoy tutoring on the side.

I am a 23 year old UCT undergraduate looking for a part time job to make ends meet while I wait for my graduation and other courses to begin in July/August 2017. I will be graduating with a BSc in Construction Studies and plan to continue my studies UCT for 1 more year in order to acquire an honours degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
