Biology tutors in Randburg

I am extremely passionate about this subject, hence I’m studying this at university. I’m currently majoring in Biochemistry and Cell biology as well as Genetics and Developmental Biology and through each year of high school and university I have done extremely well receiving 84% in High school, 80% in 1st year and an overall of 71 in 2nd year.

I am currently studying for a BSc in natural science. I have completed a semester studying zoology and botany at the University of Johannesburg before transferring to Minerva Schools at KGI. I achieved high marks for Life Sciences in my matric results. I also have a passion for zoology.

Biology was my favorite subject in high school. I obtained an average of 96% at the end of grade 11, and 87% at the end of matric. While biology requires a lot of rote learning, I like to think that being able to understand the subject matter makes it easier to learn. Biology is also one of my university subjects and I have done biochemistry, cytology, genetics and evolution in detail so far. I have obtained a distinction for biology in first semester. I love this subject and can hopefully make it slightly less boring. The grade 11 setwork of the human body was my favorite, so if you’re struggling with that I am the perfect person to ask for help!

I have a big passion and interest in this subject. I also have a great understanding of this subject and can pass on the information correctly and effectively. My degree i am currently studying also includes this as a subject.

I am a hardworking and highly organised person. I received 80% for my final Biology/Life Science exams in matric in 2017. I feel that I am able to help students understand their work and expand their knowledge. I am able to help students summarise the relevant work in efficient ways as I did in school.

My love for Biology is what initially drove me to major in Human Physiology and Genetics in my Bachelor of Science, and eventually pursue medicine. I have been tutoring this subject for three years, and have remained up to date with the way it is commonly tested in exams. Furthermore, I try to use my love for the subject to bring interest to the lessons.

Biology started as one of my worst subjects and as I focused more I started to love it more. It was great to know more about myself on a basic and scientific level as well as know more about the world around me. I believe I have a great way of allowing Biology to be fun and interesting rather than just a task or something you feel you need to parrot learn. A subject to enjoy rather than loath.
