I genuinely hated the subject but honestly it was only because I did not understand the subject. Once I got the help I needed I came to appreciate the beauty of maths and I would love to help others struggling to recognize the beauty of it too.

At school I was privileged enough to have amazing maths and science teachers. I have a love for maths and science due to them, this passion also led me to my degree that I a, studying today. I would love to give someone else the knowledge and passion for maths and science that these two amazing ladies gave me.

Computer science student

I am a vibrant 23 years old woman, I have a degree in Bsc (Physical Sciences). Im currently doing Bsc Hons (Physics). I tutor Physics to 1st year students in Sefako Makhatho Health Sciences University. I enjoy tutoring and in my spare time I teach high school kinds Maths and Science

Mathematics was my strongest subject in school and after undergoing intense mathematical subjects in university, my knowledge of the foundations of the subject which are taught in school are proficient. I find it easy to explain mathematical concepts such that it is easy for the student to grasp.

I am currently studying BSc Actuarial and Financial Mathematics at University of Pretoria.

I have been getting straight A’s for the subject since grade 9. I also took advanced and applied mathematics which I also passed in my matric year. I am well aware that Mathematics does not come naturally for some people but I have some techniques for studying and examination periods which students can use to excel in the subject.

I completed AP mathematics in high school and have completed three years of mathematics at the University of Pretoria and have always found mathematics to be a joy to learn and teach. In high school I excelled in mathematics and hope to help others do as well.

Mathematics has always been easy for me, I managed to get distinctions in mathematics and in Varsity, I really love the subject and making someone else understand mathematics always gives me great joy.
