I come from a French background; in fact, all my undergrad studies were done in french. I have been studying at the University of the Western Cape since 2017, the year of my Honours degree. I like to help people, not only because it makes us feel good about ourselves but also because we all need some help and coaching in life; Alone it is very difficult to succeed, being aware of that drives me to help others where I can.

I am an honest dedicated hardworking young individual. I am currently completing my bachelor's s of technology degree in electrical engineering majoring in electronic communications. I enjoy being part of youth programmes that can teach them skills and develop economic and societal skills that are vital to ensure that they can also be independent, succeed in their dreams too and be financially secured . I believe in empowering children in any way possible such as education, jobs and food security. And I have experience in working with children and annually volunteer to teach at disadvantaged schools and elderly in the community to read and write. I hold an MA degree in Economics at Maynooth University in Ireland. I have also completed my Bcom degree in Economics within the 3-year duration graduating Summa Cum Laude. In my Economics Honours degree in 2016, I obtained 4 distinctions out of the 7 modules. I was recognized for the Dean’s Merit List Award for Academic Excellence, The Economic Research Southern Africa (ERSA) Award and a Top Achiever Award in the third year microeconomics, in the 2015 academic year. I was also recognized in the South Africa’s top 100 Future Leaders Awards in 2017.

I am 25 years old, currently a student at the University of the Western Cape. I am studying languages and psychology with a short term vision of becoming a teacher. I am hard working, creative and motivated for success. I believe that one can do and achieve anything that one put their mind too because we plan our lives and God drives it. I am also looking for new opportunities to share my knowledge with others and improve my own skills to be one of the best educators.

I am currently doing my PhD in chemistry working on metal hydrides for hydrogen storage. As part of my honours and masters degrees, I dutied as a chemistry tutor for undergraduate students. This rewarding experience gave me better understanding of analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, and physical chemistry for University and college students. Furthermore, I am able to teach physical science at high school level.

I am a recent Computer Science graduate, with a Bachelors degree and Honours degree. I am currently looking for a job in the field of Computer Science and Information Technology. Throughout my academic career at the University of the Western Cape, I have acquired multiple personal and professional skills that would make a great addition to any team and organization. These skills include programming, project management, communication, being constantly eager to learn, to adapt and embrace change. I enjoy creatively solving problems and being exposed to different types of projects. My personal objective/ career objective is to build a long-term career in the field of Computer Science with great opportunities for learning more and growing my career. I have worked on multiple projects under the following fields: big data, Internet of things (IoT), and Machine Learning. My research thesis was based on Smart Cities, where I was required to conduct research on Smart parking and build a Smart Parking System prototype. I am currently doing my Masters in Computer Science, and my research project is under Big data and IoT.
