I am a PhD graduate in Chemistry and enjoy teaching Chemistry and Biology. I have always held highly the fact that knowledge is far more valuable when shared thus teaching is an important part of any academics’ life journey. My passion for Chemistry has given me enthusiasm and a desire to bring out passion in everyone that I teach. My teaching vision is to motivate students to develop their own learning interests, which is indispensable in foundation education as students can identify and harness their scientific abilities at an early stage. It is also important that students freely express their unique perspectives, which fosters dialogue and challenges critical thinking. This stimulates the students’ curiosity and they will actively learn and seek new knowledge rather than feeling as if they are being forced to learn. Presentation of study material should be in an interesting and interactive way to students encouraging them to want to learn and help to retain more information.

I am patient and versatile tutor, that understands that each student`s learning experience is unique. I am a recognised academic scholar throughout high school currently studying at UCT. Keen to help whoever i can, as best i can.

I know what it takes to become a 80% student from being a 60% student, as I have been there myself. I also know how hard it is to keep those 80% once you reach them. I am a very patient and understanding tutor. Rome was not built in a day, and neither is the understanding of troublesome fields. My name is Sello Moremi CA(SA), I qualified Chartered Accountant in 2019. I passionate about accounting and business, I am looking to expand and share my knowledge in all things involving accounting and business studies. I am a Wits graduate where I obtained my Bachelor of Accounting Science and CTA, I started my career in an Audit firm where I got exposure from several industries, just to name a few I've been in banking, manufacturing, mining, retail and public sector. I am currently practicing as a management accountant. I've had a passion for teaching since my high school where I was teaching my peers Maths, Accounting and Physical Sciences and this significantly improved the school pass rate. I was a tutor in varsity where I shared my knowledge in a quest to improve and develop academic performance of struggling students. During my articles I was also involved in technical training and mentor ship of aspiring Chartered Accountants. I've recently been involved in adhoc online tutoring and I've seen the how much I've benefited many students hence I decided to share my knowledge and teachings with many more students. My main approach is sharpening students exam techniques and how to approach several questions. This will be supplemented by main underlying technical principles/laws. As I believe most students have the knowledge however the application of that knowledge becomes a challenge especially in complex questions and simplifying the technical of the subject matter to make it easier to understand and apply.

I am passionate about the English language and specifically literature. I've been a teacher for 20 years and school principal for 5 years. Grade 9 to 12 students have improved their grades significantly through my skills and passion.
