My greatest passion in life is teaching. l have a heart for young ones and am easy to go with, very flexible and am into Maths a lot. I was born and raised in Zimbabwe, and experienced great success at school and at university due to amazing and unforgettable teachers. This is the foundation of my commitment to helping out my students, whatever their abilities may be. I have been tutoring and teaching for 5 years in various settings – tutoring small and large groups, private individual tutoring, and teaching in rural, suburban, and urban classroom and home settings. I tutor Mathematics, Mathematics Literacy and Statistics.

I seek to be the best in everything what i do. currently working as a communications Officer under Gauteng Department of health ( Tara Hospital). i am a student at the University of South Africa doing my fourth year with an excellent academic record ( 20 distinctions so far). I am a hard worker and always willing to learn new things, take advantage of new opportunities. i have the love and passion for human rights which i intend to further my studies in when doing post graduate qualification.

I am a young educator at heart. I am currently working at a bank, however, I have an interest and passion to go back to my teaching days. I enjoyed Commercial Law as a subject and would love to go back and help students demystify this rather awesome subject! In my years at University I tutored Commercial Law for 3 Years, for Commerce students. Thereafter, I lectured Business Law at Damelin for a year.

I believe that the learning experience of mathematics should not only be limited within the confines of the classroom, it should be essential that students are able to solve problems outside the classroom.I still believe that practice makes perfect, time and again I constantly encourage my students to do a lot of exercises and problem solving at home, and most of all I do motivate them to have make the learning experience fun through working out problems with friends or fellow classmates. As a Maths Tutor, I understand that my main aim is to ensure that my students are able to grasp basic and advanced mathematical concepts. During 12 years of teaching statistics & mathematics at many levels, from Calculus courses to teaching Business Calculations, Calculations & Statistics and Quantitative techniques and Finance, as a Lecturer, a Teaching Assistant and as Tutor, I have been constantly learning and gaining experience as to what makes an effective and a polished practitioner of the craft, also I have been focusing on improving my own skills. I bring this experience, together with a commitment to continue learning and adjusting, to my future career as a lecturer of Statistics. The most important lesson for me has been the realization that the teaching of stats must be interactive and involve the student.
