I have a Master's degree in Psycholinguistics (a combination of Psychology and Linguistics), and am currently doing my PhD in the same field. I am an Applied English Language Studies and General Linguistics lecturer. I have been teaching for 5 years, and have experience not only with lecturing, but also with tutorial classes, private classes, and additional support classes.

I graduated cum laude (with distinction) from my Psychology honours degree. I am currently working towards my masters in research psychology. I love psychology and I think that I have a thorough and extensive knowledge of the subject. I have also tutored psychology at university level. Having been through the system I understand the challenges that it may bring as well as exactly what is required to be successful. I am flexible, patient and dedicated.

I'm currently studying in the 4th year of my LLB after graduating with a BA in Psychology at UCT on a full academic scholarship. My intention has always been to practice as an attorney, however I chose to also pursue a degree in psychology out of both interest and a desire to challenge myself. have always believed in the value of hard work, and have had some form of a employment since I was 13. I know how incredible of an opportunity my scholarship is, and I plan on making the best of it. Although I have high aspirations, I am aware of the importance of remaining humble, and I hope to be able to use my future success to give back to my community, and perhaps enable some people in similar situations as my own to achieve greatness. I am on the Dean's Merit List, and have received a Student Excellence Award as well as a Class Medal. I believe what sets me apart from other strong academic candidates is my understanding of the real world and the need for unrelenting drive and constant self-improvement. I'm a great team-player, although I am also capable of taking on leadership and solo roles, as well as following instructions and taking initiative. I have ample wit, and will bring a bit of joy to any office. I hope to work in a high-pace environment as I thrive off of pressure and a bit of healthy competition. Although my academics have always been my top priority, I am also involved in several community service projects. I spend every Saturday morning either volunteering at a free legal clinic in Khayelitsha, or mentoring young women from Philippi. I hope to one day have a career that will allow me to truly utilize my skills, including lateral thinking and my ability to empathize and connect with people. I am particularly interested in Contract Law and Delict, and hope to pursue my masters in Contract Law at UCT.

I finished my honors completing my research in Psychology and Industrial Psychology. I have been tutoring Psychology since then, focusing primarily on University 3rd Year work! I am a good fit for this not just because I had a passion for Psychology, but because I have covered the many theories and concepts.

I am currently in the process of completing my honours in psychology. I am an educator and have a lot of experience working with children. I am however qualified to teach child and adult development. I am currently a 2nd year law student at UCT. My GPA (grade point average) is 77% (a first). I studied German and French at Warwick University in the UK for a year, before beginning my degree at UCT.

I have a passion for teaching and watching students finally understand their work. I love to help people and I am very patient so I will sit with a student for as long as it takes until they understand their work. I am currently in my second year of studies and I am studying Bcom Industrial Psychology at the University of Stellenbosch. I matriculated in 2014 at Fairmont High School.
