I am a second year Bachelor of Science student at University of Cape Town.

I am Lihleli Mavela. I am a Masters student in physics at the University of the Western Cape. Science has been my life adventure ever since I encountered as a child. I like reading isiXhosa and English literature, like novels. I am a self-motivated person and willing to help others a lot o their studied.

I am a friendly and hardworking student. I went to Westerford High School and was in the top 20 in my grade with an average of 86% in my final examinations. My matric subjects were Maths, AP maths, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, French, English and Afrikaans. My top sujbects were Maths (91%), Afrikaans (90%) and Life Sciences (89%). I am currently doing a BSc in Genetics and Human Anatomy at UCT and my electives are Maths, Physics, Biology, Chemistry and Statistics.

I am a Credit Analyst and I work for a micro-finance institution. I currently hold qualifications in Financial Mathematics and Actuarial Science and I am very passionate about Maths and Statistics. I was a Mathematics and Statistics tutor at university for 3 years before joining the Corporate world. Working will people and imparting my knowledge to them has always been one of my biggest passions.

I am a B Com Financial Accountant Graduate from North-West University with 2 years working experience as a Trainee Accountant. During this time I have discovered that I prefer working with people. Analytical thought reminded me that I am very good at drawing attention and focus in explanation and transferral of knowledge. Hence I decided to re-direct my career into working with people. I actively tutored full time (1400 hours) in 2017 with excellent results in the following categories: 2 tutoring agencies, private clients (adult and children), home schooling, as well as special needs children. I was a learner at a Private IEB School. (Helpmekaar College) I very much enjoyed interacting with people in the working environment. Since I have previous experience in promotion and sales, I wish to explore the avenue of Public Relations. I communicate easily and effectively with people of various cultures or ages. This necessary skill makes marketing a brand easy.

I am 48 years old and completing my BED degree with Unisa. I have worked in the finance field. Accounting and Payroll. I am good with figures. I have helped many high school students with accounting and mathematics. I have a bubbly personality with lots of patience.

I obtained a distinction for my final matric results. I did maths major in university until 3rd year. I have a well rounded understanding of high school maths. I enjoy tutoring maths and believe I can get my students to understand it better too.

I am a British citizen who has lived in South Africa for the past 12 years. I was born in the UK and bought up in Singapore and HongKong. I was schooled in all three countries. My tertiary education was in the UK, Italy and South Africa. I hold a BA (Hons) in Economics and Italian, an MSc in Finance, an MComm in Economics as well as a PhD in Economics. I am thus well suited to teach economics, finance, mathematics for economics as well as Italian (upto advanced inetrmediate level).

I'm an outgoing, friendly girl who loves meeting new people and seizing new opportunities. I'm active, I enjoy the outdoors and I'm always up for an adventure. I'm well-spoken, hard-working and I always put in 100% effort. After completing high school, I worked and traveled in Australia for the whole of 2016. I'm currently studying a BSc majoring in Marine Biology at University of Cape Town.
