I had the privilege of being tutored in math for most of my school years and I am so grateful for the impact these tutors had on my performance and also my confidence in doing math. I continued to study Actuarial Science(because of the major math component in the course) and I am nearly qualified as an actuary. I would like to have the same impact on other students. I would like to see them grow in their confidence as well as performance in math.

I've been studying engineering at Stellenbosch university for 4 years now and my knowledge of Mathematics is well developed. On top of that, my tutoring experience makes me very capable of passing my knowledge off to you!

I think Math is a universal language. It combines logic and communication. It opens doors and helps you recognize your own strengths and capabilities. I am a mechanical engineer and a geek. Math is my language.

I enjoy explaining things that I'm passionate about, I'm a practical person, and I can teach students steps to simplify and make math problems easier for them. I graduated high school with 90% in maths.

I enjoy Mathematics, weird I know. I have had lots of experience with it. I got 86% in my NSC exams for it. I also did A-Levels in Mathematics and Mechanics (Physics and Math on steroids). I have also had lots of exposure to it thanks to my university studies, studying Mechanical Engineering. People always make math sound terrifying but in all honesty it doesn't have to be. Breaking it down to the core components we can conquer it. Ill bring my passion for Math over to you, and help you grow.

I excelled at Math on a school level and proceeded to study Mathematics at University. I am qualified to teach Maths up to Gr12. I explain things clearly, and I am extremely patient with students. Having teaching experience in various places and countries (and various age groups) I know how students learn in different ways.

As an art major, one of my strengths is bringing my creativity along. I do this by coming up with interesting ways to learn with my students. I understand that it is easy to feel discouraged when a concept isn't instantly grasped. I aim to keep my students motivated by incorporating a creative element. My mother teaches Maths to grade 4s and I have always had her methods to look up to.

Being an electrical engineering student, we are taught to tackle very complex mathematical problems. With this knowledge and skills obtained, I am well equipped to teach you ways in which to tackle your own mathematical problems efficiently and easily.

Maths has always been my favourite subject as well as my specialisation subject at University. I love teaching maths and promise to make it fun and easy to remember! Maths can be so fun when you have the right person to help you figure out the best methods for you to use when working with numbers and I know just how to help you with that!
