I have a PhD from the Graduate School of Oceanography in Rhode Island (USA). My forte is science and more specifically subjects like mathematics, physics, hydrodynamics, physical oceanography and other earth sciences. My goal in teaching is to convey knowledge in ways that are captivating and clear while conquering aversion and misconceptions. One effective teaching/learning strategy for me is to translate seemingly abstract information into some relatable reality. I’m available for online tutoring only.

I love science, I mean who does not love science? Science makes things happen. Science is the future. Without science we would all perish. without science life would be difficult and impossible to live. I want to be one of those who transfers the knowledge to the next generation.

I have wealth of teaching experiences and I deliver services with passion. I have been a tutor for Mathematics Modules in higher institutions in South Africa since 2016. Also, I have taught Mathematics in many High Schools and lectured in various colleges of technology and universities. I obtaineed Ph.D degree in Mathematics from University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban, South Africa. I attended Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria for my B.Sc (Honours) degree in Mathematics and obtained Master of Science degree in Mathematics at African University of Science and Technology, Abuja, Nigeria. I am computer literate and have good knowledge of programmings.

I am a registered professional Mechanical Engineer. In 2015 I was part of the University of KwaZulu-Natal team that took part in the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge in Australia. My professional career has involved work in Aeronautical, Automotive, Power Generation and Mining.

I am a medical technician. I travel for work outside South Africa. I have experience in math and science. I was a tutor for 5 years, also a engineering tutor while studying.

Amos Vusi Msiza is a third year student at the university of Johannesburg studying B Ed (Senior & FET) majoring in Mathematics and Physical Science. I matriculated in 2011 with a distinction in Mathematics. I love tutoring as it gives me a platform to become a mentor and I also believe that tutoring is way to move from traditional way of teaching that has proven not to be so effective.

Physics was one of my stronger subjects at school. Physics, like maths is a subject where understanding is important and sometimes you just need to approach a problem a different way. I am currently also doing physics as part of my first year university courses.

I have a degree in civil engineering, and therefore have an expansive experience with this subject. Subjects that i covered were engineering maths (which is a heavy focus on calculus), applied mathematics (which is a mixture of static and dynamic physics) and basic chemistry on a university level, in addition to my engineering subjects. I have also taught Cambridge mathematics at a high school for a year.

The subject was my favorite in high school and I did pretty good in my final exams, although I know I could have done better. But most importantly I think I'm the best tutor for the subject because I've got love for it. As we know people tend to do well in things they love.

I would like to teach in a way that understands how your brain works, and work around that to try and make physics tailored to you. Many people have a fear of physics because of the stigma that it carries, but I can show you that it can be quite simple and even a bit enjoyable!
