Hi my name is Jo and I am fit and lively and I have a great sense of humour! I am a mom of a 30 year old daughter and I am passionate about working with students of all ages. Tutoring and helping students to learn and understand and be the best they can be, is my passion! My mission is to use what's left of my career to be of service to students and to make a difference in their lives helping them to make their dreams come true. I love all types of music from Rock to Classical and I read alot! Creating teddy bears and walking out in nature is two of my favourite things to do. I would love to be able to have fun and learn with you and teach you!

I am a chartered accountant with a special interest in social finance and impact investing. My work experience ranges from auditing, financial management and finance management consulting both in South Africa and the USA. I am currently also busy pursuing a CFA qualification.

Teaching English has always been a passion of mine. I'm a certified TEFL teacher with over two years of experience teaching English online. I'm also a BA Legal studies & Political Science graduate with four years of experience in business finance and legal advisory to one of the industry leading companies in passenger commuting in Durban. My style of teaching is fun and exciting, yet tailored to each individuals needs in order to ensure that their learning objectives are met. I truly enjoy meeting and interacting with people from different cultures and backgrounds which makes my classes more engaging and interactive. I always encourage my students to speak and practice English use in class, which is why my students improve their English skills from the first class they take with me.

My greatest passion in life is inspiring others. I was born in Congo and raised in South Africa, and experienced great success at school and at university due to amazing and unforgettable teachers. This is the foundation of my commitment to helping out my students, whatever their abilities may be. Currently, I am studying a masters degree in Biotechnology, I have been tutoring for 5 years in various settings – tutoring small and large groups, private individual tutoring, and teaching in rural, suburban, and urban classroom and home settings.

I'm Langwano Jiyane currently completing my Engineering degree (metallurgy) at university of the Witwatersrand . I took a university gab year in 2015, and worked for lovelife as a facilitator and maths and science tutor at Phumelela secondary school in Mpumalanga. This school archived a 100% pass rate in the year that i was a tutor.

I am currently a Doctoral student at the North-West University studying Microbiology. I have a BSc Degree in Biological Science (Microbiology and Physiology as majors) and Masters degree in Environmental Science. I have 8 years of experience in teaching practical microbiology modules at the North-West University in Potchefstroom. I thoroughly enjoy assisting the student to gain a better understanding of subjects related to Biology, Physics and Chemistry. I currently live in Potchefstroom, South Africa. I provide online lessons via zoom or google meets, depending on your preference. I teach personal as well as group sessions. Although my experience is in teaching university-level students, I have newly shifted my focus to teaching high school students and thoroughly enjoy doing so. I studied in the UK at Cambridge, I have degrees in Physics and Chemistry, also a masters degree in Chemistry. I completed my PGCE at Staffordshire university. I obtained experience working in the chemical industry for multiple global companies. Having moved back to SA after finishing university in UK, I currently teach Physics and Chemistry in a private school in KZN.

Hello my name is Jessica Dunnington. I was born and raised in Durban, KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. I am 29 years old. I matriculated in 2010 and went to work for my uncle at his Pick n pay but I knew that was not what I wanted to do, so I resigned. For as long as I can remember I have always wanted to work with children. So I decided that I wanted to follow my dream to become an au pair and still till this day it is still my dream job. My family helped me take courses so I could be a qualified as an au pair and the upside was that I could travel the world and still be able to do my job that I love. Once I got all my certificates, I went to Lodi, California for a year. I looked after three wonderful children. They are triplets. When I came back from California, I did not stay long in South Africa because I got another job offer in Saudi Arabia. I packed my bags once again and went on another adventure. My job was to be an English tutor to a young boy but things changed and I became an au pair to him and his young sister. I loved every moment of it. A few years later I decided that we wanted to become an English teacher in China, so in 2018 I did my TEFL course and went to China to teach English. I was at a training school. I only had classes in the afternoon. Teaching in China and being an au pair was the most rewarding things I have done in my life and I would still like to work with children. I am at the moment doing my level 5 TEFL course and I am almost finished with my course. I would really appreciate the chance to teach online, I will do my very best and I will not disappoint you. Through all my experience working with children I have learned that they are amazing and with each day the children of today are becoming so intelligent, which is amazing to see. I believe that we as teachers/ au pairs should do whatever we can to help the children of today because they are our future.

I am a civil engineer currently working for Sasol. I have 9 years working experience. I am a BSc Civil Engineering graduate from the University of the Witwatersrand (2011). I am currently working in middle management.
