Leani B - Tutor in Potchefstroom
I am currently a Doctoral student at the North-West University studying Microbiology. I have a BSc Degree in Biological Science (Microbiology and Physiology as majors) and Masters degree in Environmental Science. I have 8 years of experience in teaching practical microbiology modules at the North-West University in Potchefstroom. I thoroughly enjoy assisting the student to gain a better understanding of subjects related to Biology, Physics and Chemistry. I currently live in Potchefstroom, South Africa. I provide online lessons via zoom or google meets, depending on your preference. I teach personal as well as group sessions. Although my experience is in teaching university-level students, I have newly shifted my focus to teaching high school students and thoroughly enjoy doing so. I am currently working on my Doctoral degree in Environmental Science with a spesialization in Aquatic Microbiology. I studied B Sc. Physiology and Microbiology as majors in undergrad, with minors in Physics, Anatomy, Zoology and Statistics to level one and Chemistry to level two. I obtained a 90% for organic chemistry as a second year at University level. My current Doctoral studies are focussed on effects emerging contaminants in water environments have on biological life. This research is based in labratories where I have to artificially create these environments. A grate understanding of Chemistry is thus a big part of my daily work.

I have always had a great interest and passion for biology. I obtained my BSc degree in Biological Sciences (Majors: Physiology and Microbiology) and Masters degree in Environmental Science at the North-West University.
