Hi, I'm Madzia. I attended CBC Mount Edmund and matriculated in 2016. I will be turning 22 this year (yikes). I recently completed my BA Law degree (cum laude) with a distinction in my chosen major, English Literature, at the University of Pretoria. My graduation is in April of this year and I am currently in the process of applying for my second degree in Journalism and Communications. I was hoping to find a tutoring job in the meantime and would greatly appreciate the opportunity to fill a possible vacancy located in Pretoria. I believe that the key to academic success is asking for clarity where it is needed and I would like to offer my help through the skills I have acquired over my academic endeavor thus far to someone who is in need of them. I am patient, conversational, always willing to listen and passionate about helping others reach their full potential or at least be a lending hand in the process thereof. I myself needed a math tutor in high school so I understand the process and I know what it feels like to be struggling in a certain subject. If you are battling with the English language, can't write an essay to save your life, struggle analyzing a poem or think Shakespeare sounds like gibberish, I'm your girl. I hope to not only help you better your skills, but enable you to enjoy the subject too. I always try my best to explain every concept that is confusing for you and I will always find different ways to explain something if you do not understand the method that you were taught. Always be optimistic because there is nothing you will not understand after an extra bit of help. And it is fine to be confused about something especially if your teacher did not go through the topic long enough, we have all been in that position and I am always open to questions and suggestions. I am super approachable so do not hesitate to ask anything.

My name is Fedile Mofokeng; I’m a 22 year old Female who has graduated from the University of Johannesburg with a B.A. in Film and Television Studies. I am a dynamic individual that can adapt to any situation faced with. I have good communication skills which I think is very important when working with students as well as when it comes to working with parents so that we can help their child reach their highest academic level. I am a hard worker who enjoys learning new things and interacting with new and different people. I have the willingness to help others while having the ability to deal with given tasks with patience and care. Other people tend to see me as being calm, thoughtful and a good listener. In addition to my experience and personal qualities, I have an Educational background as I have obtained my National Senior Certificate as well as a Degree in Film and Television Studies and believe strongly in the importance of Education. I have previous child care experience from volunteering as an assistant grade R teacher for 2 months, as well as serving at the Kids Church. I have a passion of being around children as well as helping them reach their academic potential. I would say my teaching method is very interactive, and intimate and that’s why I prefer individual lessons so that way I can teach my students according to their pace and understanding. Because everyone, even the smartest and brightest, need help sometimes, I want to offer my experiences and advice whenever possible. In high school, my successes in academics and extracurricular activities attracted motivated underclassmen and peers to ask "What did you do to perform well?" Truly, it is impossible to simply replicate someone else's approach to studying or doing anything because each individual is unique. My strongest asset has always been my personalized advice and empathy towards others that allows me to find the best solution for them. Now, as a student I'm most passionate about the subjects of Economics, Math, and English.
