Hey. Im Tsholanang Modiko. A forth year student at university of Witwatersrand (wits). Im majoring in maths and doing physics and life Sciences as well. Im very passionate in maths and science. Hello - I’m Jo. I’m a 4th year Actuarial Science student at UCT. I’m a patient and understanding person, who is self-motivated and ambitious. I enjoy a balance of work and play. I love to connect with people and to help people in any way that I can.

I became involved in tutoring when my daughter first experienced learning challenges during her schooling, some 15 years ago. Since then I have tutored both in a private capacity and at home school facilities, and at both the primary and high school levels. My high school subjects include Maths, Maths Lit, Life Science and Geography. For the past 18 months I have been a tutor at a primary school centre for children with a range of learning issues such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia and CP. My function has been to provide 1-on-1 tuition to any Grade 4 - 7 child who has required specialized assistance in any subject. I thus have a comprehensive knowledge of the current syllabi in all subjects for these Grades. I have also assisted - but do not have a great deal of experience in - Foundation Phase learning. I identify easily with children and young people, and find that they feel very comfortable with me. It is truly thrilling to be involved in the process of imparting a love of learning to today's youth!

I just recently completed my BCom Accounting degree at the university of Johannesburg and at the moment I'm studying part time, I'm busy with my Bridging course to the theory of accounting (BCTA) at the university of Johannesburg. I love helping people and also teaching.
