I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2001 and have many years of practical business experience. When tutoring financial accounting I prefer to teach introductory accounting modules. This includes school level accounting but also accounting for non-financial managers, ICB bookkeeping students and first year university and university of technology students. I am able to take a student from "these debits and credits don't make any sense" to having a good grasp of basic accounting concepts in a few lessons. Accounting is a "learn by doing" subject and my aim is to get you to a point where you can go forward with confidence.

I am suitably qualified with a Bcom (Honours) in Accounting. I also have 3 years tertiary level teaching experience. I can assist learners with their accounting studies at both high school and university level (NQF level 5 to NQF level 7). I will also be able to assess the learners' progress by designing assessments that are suited to their level. I also enjoy engaging with learners and offering them career guidance so that they make wise decisions regarding their study choices. I am able to provide online lessons during the week. Arrangements can also be made for face to face lessons but only during weekends and for learners in close proximity or those who can travel to my place.

I just finished my first year of Bachelor of Accounting and accounting is one of my favourite modules. I did accounting at school which is the main reason I chose the course I'm in. I enjoy the subjects content and my goal is to help you understand the processes.

I achieved 93% for accounting in Matric Senior Certificate. I also Passed my Bcom Degree with Distinction achieving distinction for all three years in Accounting. I have an Honours Degree in Financial Management, CIMA Dip in Management Accounting, Adv CIMA Dip Management Accounting and have passed Advanced Financial Reporting for CIMA on the first sitting. I have tutored high school students in Accounting before and have had more than 6 years practical experience of accounting and group accounting including Manufacturing, Payroll, Tax, Consolidations, Distribution, Retail, Trusts, and International Accounting. I am able to explain concepts in a simple and easy to understand format and build from that to ensure students can apply concepts effectively in exams and commercial environment.

As an auditor with a BCom Accounting degree, I am an expert in this field and my proficiency is further evidenced by my 90% score in matric. This is a subject that I would add significant value in as I apply the principles daily and impart knowledge thereon to junior staff members on my audit teams
