I have an intuitive mind for programming, I am naturally gifted in figuring out how computers think and understand the code we write and since I have learned a fair number of languages I have been able to assist learners with programming languages I haven't worked with before through the application of software engineering principles. I'm proficient and capable of tutoring primarily in Delphi, Visual Basic and C++, and from my experiences I've been able to also assist in Java and Python as well from my self studied understanding of those languages.

I, Almario Shelwynne Noah, obtained merit certificates in this subject at high school level and ranked third place in the prestigious Standard bank Computer Science competition in 2007. I also obtained a distinction in high school Computer Science at the end of my grade 11 and grade 12 year and I am endorsed in Information Technology at University level. I also obtained a certificate in tutoring from the University of the Free State, hence , I am qualified to tutor.

I have used python, java, matlab, latex and c++ during my research career and at university level. At my day job as a developer/analyst I use SQL, d3.js and python daily. I am also familiar with cloud computing technologies like amazon web services.

I enjoy coding recreationally. I can code in C and in Delphi. I took IT in highschool, so I have experiance with that environment and how their projects are done. I can help in advising with Projects and/or PAT's. I am currently studying it further as one of my Modules in Electrical Engineering.

I have selected 'Computer programming' rather than a specific language, purely for the fact that I perform programming tasks on a daily basis, and the delta in these language have become somewhat fluid to me. Programming is much more that the syntax requirements of a specific language. It is a mindset and an understanding of the formulation of ideas that can be computationally executed. I was a university appointed tutor for 1st year programming in my varsity days, and have successfully created tangible programming tools for industry in my professional career through use of Matlab, python, java and C.

I have extensive experience and passion in programming throughout my academic career. I have passion in teaching and coaching others how to get into the programming/development momentum. I have also written several programs since I started my Tertiary educations.

I feel I'm best fit to tutor this subject because I am currently a Computer Science student doing my second year and I've been programming for 6 years now. For that reason I feel I am the best tutor for this subject.
