I'm an RF engineer working in the Satcom sector for the aerospace industry. We design and built the worlds leading solutions in this field with our systems making it onto the worlds largest commercial airlines all around the world! I completed my masters degree at Stellenbosch university about 4 years ago and have never stopped attending and completing courses in whichever fields cought my interest. It is this habit which has made me realise that I may have something to offer to others to help them along on their future journey. I live in Somerset West in the Western Cape, I am 28 years old, and just about 5 months ago, my wife and I had our first baby, Livia Bonarius! I generally like anything that I'm good at, including enjoying a good wine, electronic engineering and the occasional dabbling in music.

Mathematics
Not only do I truly enjoy the raw, unapologetic nature of mathematics, but I also have a knack for it. I am not the tutor that has an understanding just above that of the students. I intend to understand all aspects of the section I am tutoring, and will ensure I understand every nuance and contortion within a concept to give a truly deeper intuition rather than a shallow verbatim style understanding.

Computer Programming
I have selected 'Computer programming' rather than a specific language, purely for the fact that I perform programming tasks on a daily basis, and the delta in these language have become somewhat fluid to me. Programming is much more that the syntax requirements of a specific language. It is a mindset and an understanding of the formulation of ideas that can be computationally executed. I was a university appointed tutor for 1st year programming in my varsity days, and have successfully created tangible programming tools for industry in my professional career through use of Matlab, python, java and C.
