Natural Sciences tutors in KwaZulu-Natal

I am a Medical Doctor but have changed careers into Education as this is my passion. I have lived and travelled to many parts of the world (to both work and experience life) - Australia, Canada, Scotland, England, Wales, Ireland and South Africa. Currently I am living in Durban with my wife and two young daughters. My outside hobbies include Aviation and History/Culture. I attended Durban High School and then the University of Natal Medical School, after which I passed and was accepted as a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Currently I am completing my Postgraduate Certificate in Education through UNISA and my TEFL (UK). My first language is English (IETLS band 8.5 through the University of Cambridge Testing System).

I have successfully completed my BSc degree at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. It consists of a double major: Hydrology & Geography. Within these two majors, I was moulded into a hard-working and consistent individual who utilizes a multidisciplinary approach and open mind when faced with new challenges. I believe that having mastered Natural Science in my BSc degree puts me in a position - confident to educate others.

I am currently a third year accounting. During my school and university years, I have excelled in all subjects, including general sciences. I really enjoy engaging with fellow students to empower and enrich their experiences with the English language. I have tutored many students in the past years. I really love translating difficult information into simpler analogies, and I love infusing creativity in my approach. I am a definite people person and I plan on utilizing that in my future career. I really feel that my strength lies within my ability to communicate effectively and efficiently. Above all, I like to integrate fun into my lessons and sessions to ensure that the learning process is both enjoyable and memorable.

Natural Sciences is one of the most interesting subjects to teach and learn. I use many resource's to teach Natural Sciences so that learners become apart of the lesson rather than just observe it. I am ready to get learners to understand various concepts and how they are interrelated with each other.

These are my favourite subjects and I have been the subject leader for grade 5 for this subject. I enjoy helping others and think that it is a fascinating subject to teach. You will be happy the way in which I teach this subject.
