Afrikaans tutors in KwaZulu-Natal

i have 2 years experience in teaching Afrikaans. I would be able to teach you Taal: Verlede Tyd , Toekomende Tyd, Werkwoorde, Trappe van vergelyking, meervoude, verkleinwoorde, ontkennede vorm, teenwoordige tyd and many more. I would be able to help with begrips (comprehension). I am able to create new and interactive tasks that will help you improve your Afrikaans. I will show you rules and provide tips that will help you.

I am Afrikaans speaking and have had it as a home language for more than 12 years in school. I have always done my best and achieved the top of the class. My teachers were lovely and I always enjoyed my Afrikaans class. I know this language is a bit challenging to some, even those who speak it at home. I want to help foster a passion for this language and show learners that it is not a subject to be scared of.

My home language is Afrikaans and I'm currently teaching Afrikaans at a special needs school. I have the patience in helping learners and academics is very important to me. I want to see my learners excel in anything they do.

I have 5 years experience tutoring and teaching Afrikaans.I also am an Afrikaans speaker and it is a home language. I grew up in an Afrikaans/English speaking Household. I love teaching students something new and making it exciting in the process. I make use of a variety of teaching and learning methods to cater for all students with earning abilities or disabilities.

I would like to start of by saying that I definitely excel in languages. So much so, that I even did a second additional language (Tamil) during my matric year. I achieved an A in Afrikaans first additional language in my final Nsc exams during my matric year along with 6 other A's. If I can do it, anyone can! The Afrikaans language is one that has always come naturally to me, I achieved good marks for it throughout my high-school career and ended off with a distinction of 89% in matric. It is a subject that I can tutor well in as I am very passionate about it!

I am a second language Afrikaans speaker but have a good understanding of the language and am able to speak it conversationally. I can pitch the lessons at the child's level, and don't have unrealistic expectations for them as I can relate to the position they are in as I once was there too. I have experience tutoring Afrikaans at a Gr 3 and 4 level.

I achieved excellent results for Afrikaans throughout my school career. My aim is to show learners that with enough practice Afrikaans can be mastered. I am patient and strive to see learners achieve their goals. Afrikaans is pret!
