I am currently working towards a diploma in Chemical Engineering at the Durban University of Technology. I am passionate about teaching and passing on my knowledge to others. I am a very patient person and put in 110% effort in whatever i do.

I am a qualified school teacher for the foundation and intermediate phase.

From an early age, I've acknowledged the importance that education plays in improving our own lives as well as those around us. I therefore seek to use my own education to shape my personal and social growth. My post graduate studies in Psychology, specifically Developmental Psychology, have shown me the importance of a quality education from an early age.In becoming a tutor, I hope to assist in more than mastering the relevant work, but to also help children develop a positive attitude towards learning in general.

I am currently studying at Varsity College in hopes of achieving my doctoral qualification in psychology. I recieved 5 distinctions in my matric results along with full colours in academics during the year. I love literature, the english language, animals and I am a people person. I have experience with children through babysitting as well as having done work at a primary school aftercare. I really have a passion for learning and working with children which is the reason I am tutoring.

I am an easy-going and patient somebody. I have a passion for imparting knowledge to others and i find great satisfaction knowing that i have helped a learner achieve his/her academic goals. My favorite subjects in school included Mathematics, English, Physical Science, Information Technology and Afrikaans. I achieved 5 distinctions in matric and i believe every learner is capable of attaining academic success provided that he/she puts in the work and is guided by someone who has his/her best interest in mind. What i have learnt from my past experience is that every learner moves at their own pace and different learning styles are adopted depending on the individual.
