Afrikaans tutors in KwaZulu-Natal

I am a Unisa student currently completing my degree in B.ED in foundation phase. My major is English and psychology. I enjoy teaching English literature and Afrikaans to young learners. I volunteer my free time to assist special needs learners during their classroom experience. I intend to further my studies in special educational needs.

My hobbies include ballroom and latin american dancing, reading and photography. I am very involved in my church, serving on two committees and teaching Sunday school. I also write online content for an adventure vlog and a food blog.

I am a 24 year old who attended Stellenbosch University to study a BA in Psychology, Geography and English. After completing this qualification in 2015 i returned to Durban to study my Postgraduate Certificate in Education through UNISA. I am currently looking to tutor any grade or age and am very confident in my abilities to do so.

As languages are my passion it is important to appreciate languages and know the correct pronunciation and spelling. I love teaching students Afrikaans stories, how to write sentences correctly and how to communicate effectively.

I have been exposed to Afrikaans since primary school grade 4 and I fell in love with it and have only been receiving A + results. I am able to communication very good in the language as well. I go the extra mile for my students.

I matriculated with an 87% average for Afrikaans, and can speak the language fluently, therefore, I am a great candidate to help you excel in this subject. I am good at make notes and coming up with ways which you can remember vocabulary that you will need in your orals and exams.

My home language is afrikaans and I can learn you grammar to writing and reading from pre-school to an adult. I can help you with exams or pronunciation. I can help online or at your home or public place.

Once again it was one of my strongest subjects in my school years. I would like to help the learners master their basics, sharpen and polish them then watch them flourish. Afrikaans was a second language, and not a lot of students like it. I want to change the negative image that these learners have about the subject.
