I am a 23 year old UCT student studying to be an educational psychologist. Currently residing in the southern suburbs. I have a passion for education, youth and community development. For just under 4 years now, I have been involved in SHAWCO Education on a leadership level at UCT tutoring grades 1-10s. Developing curriculum and booklets for SHAWCO Education aligned with CAPS. I am very much a people's person, and enjoy finding easier and entertaining ways to learn.

I am currently pursuing my degree in Bachelor of Business Science in Actuarial Science at the University Of Cape Town. I am friendly and hard working. I love to teach students maths. I believe that everyone is capable of doing great in their matric.

Tuition is a personal experience and can often be a sensitive issue. My approach has always been honest. My experience and deep understanding of the content knowledge, coupled with a feel for what the learner needs guides my ability as a tutor. This being said the qualities I have that will me excel in this role are the following: I am accepting and understanding of others, this helps parents and learners feel safe and secure in communicating there educational wants and needs. I have the learner’s best interest at heart, this attitude fosters trust in my guidance. I am confident in my ability to diagnose, prescribe and tutor the learner to achieve results. This self-belief provides assurance to the learner.
