I have an interest in investment banking and would like to manage large portfolios, I study B.com economics at UJ and aim to become an investment banker one day.

I studied Bcom Economics and Econometrics (2012) and hold an honours Degree in Economics specialising in Economic Trade and Development (2014) and I am also a prospective MCOM Economic Development student from this year (2018). A diligent individual, I am able to initiate work independently, additionally embrace teamwork as more ideas can be generated. I am good in connecting and communicating with people on a personal basis and understanding their unique needs. I have a friendly, down to earth personality and have always had a great rapport with my colleagues. I am an individual with analytical, numerical and interpersonal skills and a wide variety of other skills - I do not believe in specialization as it limits you as a professional, hence I am flexible.

Currently I am a PhD candidate at University of Witwatersrand. My reaesrch is focused in finacial institutions, financial economis, and accounting.

I have undergone rigorous training at Wits University in macroeconomics, microeconomics, international finance and trade, mathematical economics, and econometrics in the course of my degree. In addition to consistently achieving high grades in these subjects, I constantly broaden my economic knowledge through extra reading and keeping up to date with national economic news and trends. I am able to clearly explain and simplify economic concepts on a level suited to the needs of an undergraduate student at all levels of their undergraduate degree and below, and provide critical insight into the types of economic problems students face during their economics studies.

Economics is my life! I have been teaching this subject for the past 6 years after studying it for 4 years. I understand Economics which makes a big difference to someone who can just 'teach' the content.
