My name is Ashley Weatherdon and I am a Native English speaker from South Africa with a Master TEFL/TESOL Certificate, Bachelor of Education in Foundation Phase teaching and four years teaching experience with different students from around the world. I have worked for various online companies teaching students aged from 4-55 years old. I have a very interactive and blended style of teaching ensuring that my lessons are suitable for students at all times. I matriculated in 2014 with a 83% average and I was involved in many spheres at school (music, sport, first aid, leadership). After this I took a gap year where I did 2 qualifications in coaching sport. In 2016 I started with my studies towards becoming a CA and I am currently doing my Honours while teaching a few classes at the gym. One day I would love to lecture at a university and I find that I really enjoy teaching, tutoring and even instructing at the gym. My favourite part of tutoring is seeing students light up when a concept they have been struggling with “clicks”. I always try to use explanations that students can relate to because I believe that if you understand something it’s much easier than learning it and this has proven to be a successful way of teaching with past students that I have helped.

I am a unisa law graduate.Currently doing articles at a law firm.Interested in helping law students deal with the challenges of completing a law degree. As a former Unisa student i have a fair understanding of the obsticles students face in the pursuit of a degree.I am available to tutor subjects like law of evidence, criminal law, civil law, financial accounting etc. Completing an online degree is very challenging.i can assist such students by sharing my study techniques and methods i used to gain the required knowledge.My pass percentage was 70% -75% while studying at Unisa.I received a Attorneys Fidilty Find bursary for my last two years of study.i can assist law students with career counselling as an extra benefit.

My name is Ulutho Kobese. I am from the Eastern Cape. I am currently studying Behavioural Genetics, doing my final year. I am a co-founder of Sisi and Me Foundation, a mentorship program.The Foundation is a mentorship program for young girls that come from disadvantaged backgrounds. I am passionate about education.I am passionate about bringing satisfactory results to the students through education. As I understand that education is the foundation that needs builds your successful journey in life. And I understand that each student requires patience when it comes to education because I don't only teach you what's in the book, I go the extra mile to visualize it for you, to put it into simple terms that you can understand. I believe that effective education happens through communication. And as a tutor, I would try and find the root of the problem. My main focus is you and your success in education.

Passionate and energetic, I have a MA English Studies and tutored at the prestigious Stellenbosch University for 1.5 years where my positive and friendly manner enabled my students to feel comfortable enough with me to become completely immersed in the learning environment. I have also served as the Co-Facilitator of the English Skills Programme at Nelson Mandela University in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. I taught students from various international locations, and as in my CELTA training completed in November 2018, my friendly nature endeared me to the students and inspired them to learn. As a teacher, this is my primary aim and my greatest achievement. Adaptability is key and I always attempt to engage my students on a personal level so that they may enjoy learning. I cater to the needs of my students rather than remaining tied to one teaching method.

I am a passionate, caring and patient teacher. I have worked with many types of learners; some on higher levels, some on very low levels, those with a language barrier and even those with learning disabilities such as ADHD. I love children and most of all I love seeing them progress. I work hard and I always do my best to help every student individually according to their needs.
