My name is Ashley Weatherdon and I am a Native English speaker from South Africa with a Master TEFL/TESOL Certificate, Bachelor of Education in Foundation Phase teaching and four years teaching experience with different students from around the world. I have worked for various online companies teaching students aged from 4-55 years old. I have a very interactive and blended style of teaching ensuring that my lessons are suitable for students at all times. I am passionate about English and making sure it is being taught in the most constructive and motivating way. I believe that the best way to learn a new language is to speak it, hence why I believe the students need to spend most of the time talking and developing their communication skills as well as writing and reading skills. I ensure that lessons are very interactive with educational games,puzzles,activities etc in order to maximize the students engagement throughout the lesson.
