In grade 12 I obtained a distinction for mathematics, also throughout my school career I was always the top mathematics student. It has always been a passion of mine. Throughout my school career, I helped other students with mathematics. I am also continuously tutoring students in this subject.

Mathematics requires careful explanation and patience. As a teacher you have to put yourself in each students shoes and try understand where they are getting confused and break it down into manageable sections and explanations.

I have a BA degree in English and psychology as well as, a PGCE in foundation phase teaching. I enjoy teaching younger learners and teach Grade 2s on a daily basis. I also have 5 years of teaching experience.

I was placed in the UCT Dean's Merit List nased on my first year Academics with my highest score of 93% in the Maths Course. As a student myself, I know exactly what to concentrate on. I will be great help!

I enjoy helping students achieve their full potential in mathematics. The understanding of the fundamental concepts help learners understand mathematics, and this allows them to solve complex problems with confidence. I intend to teach you this.

Not only do I have a passion for teaching mathematics, but I have also studied for 4 years in this field and have been trained how to teach mathematics to primary school learners. I have also learnt through practical experiences in primary schools over the past 2 years on how to effectively teach mathematics to learners in a way that they easily understand.

I enjoy teaching and am able to relate well to students and help them to work at their own pace. I have a lot of experience and a sound knowledge if the curriculum requirements. Over the years my students have consistently attained good results. I have a reputation for being able to "explain well"!

I achieved distinctions for Maths throughout my entire school career. I am well equipped to help with Grade 1-10 Maths. I help students understand the content and assist them in the application of the various methods and theories. I am well equipped to help with homework, test preparation and exam preparation.

I am in my 6th year of experience. I am familiar with the syllabus and aware of areas where students fall behind most often. I am constantly researching new ways to learn math and try to build a strategy which will suit the student.
