I am a qualified Process Engineer (Chemical Engineer), graduating from the University of Pretoria with the class of 2016. I completed my degree in the fastest possible time of 4 years. I matriculated from Pretoria Boys High School in 2012 with an academic average of 90%, and 9 distinctions including IEB Advanced Program Mathematics, Biology (Life Sciences), and Physics (Physical Sciences). I took Core maths up until high school and really enjoyed it as a subject. I also worked at an extra maths center called Tjomme met Somme where I built up a lot of experience. I will be able to help with explanation of all concepts in maths and will ensure my student understands to the best of their abilities.

Like said.... I am a mechanical engineering studemt, third year. So I basically do maths all day. I got a distinction for maths in matric and it has always come very natural for me. I find maths unbelievably interesting and when you are actually interested in something, you tend to be more passionate about it and passionate people are the best people to learn from. ;)

My passion and enthusiasm for Mathematics supersede all other possible reasons for choosing to be a tutor of this subject. My patient demeanor and diligence ensure adaptation of my tutoring techniques to the individual needs and tempo of every student. My approach is interactive, and I encourage students to identify their weaknesses for intensive improvement thereof. Despite pursuing a career path in Science, I have always been passionate about Mathematics and thoroughly enjoyed and excelled in this subject at school. I am, therefore, always looking for an opportunity to re-visit this subject again and share my knowledge and passion with others, through tutoring.
