A self-motivated, enthusiastic and hardworking individual, with good communication skills who is currently studying Bachelor of Science in Property Studies at University of Cape Town, looking to secure a position to gain more experience, expand my knowledge and provide opportunities for personal and professional growth.

I recently completed ND in Chemical Engineering at CPUT. When I was still a student I went for 3 day training to become a tutor. In high school I was one of the top students in maths and I also went to Maths Olympiad in UCT.

I possess CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK), Masters in Finance from UCT and currently a PhD in Finance student at UCT. I also possess a postgraduate course in Taxation. I am well able to tutor in many areas of Accounting such as audit, risk management, finance, mathematics etc

With this subject, the best approach is to go into practicing straight up and try to build the why factor, or the intuition and the logic of why we use certain operations. But the most important element is continuous practice, and building the intuition as we go. Two I can assist students by offering breakdown of some of the concepts as we go along.

I have many years of teaching experience. Written text books for teachers on how to teach maths. Very patient and fun loving. Enjoy a good laugh and teaching with a smile. I have invented a maths game that will improve your mental maths.
