I am a very focused young man who has always had a passion for teaching. I am very good with numbers and I was very good in Mathematics in High School. I am a qualified Industrial Engineer currently working in Supply Chain in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry. My love for problem solving and analytics started way back in high school. I had always enjoyed mind games, which also helped improve my analytical skills. Also take my time as a student, when I was pursuing BEng (Industrial Engineering), the degree involved a lot of analytics and problem solving. I enjoy working with numbers and a lot of data, I also enjoy teaching others about anything analytical. With my background in planning in the FMCG industry, I have come to love using tools like Excel, Access, and VBA for process simplification & automation. I use Excel mostly for data cleaning, analysis, visualization, and building of dashboard reports. I also enjoy assisting colleagues and friends across all fields who work with a lot of data or those whose jobs requires them to have MS excel skills to equip themselves with analytical skills required to act in their jobs. I am passionate about creating of excel macros, mostly to assist with creation of repetitive (daily, weekly, monthly) reports. I have a desire to continuously learn and I love being around people who can bring the best out of me.

I believe that through education you have control over your future enabling you to be the best version of yourself! Since I want the best for myself I would like to enrich the lives of others by doing something small. Helping. Not everyone can achieve the results that they desire and I believe I can assist in doing so - by making learning fun! But more importantly, making sure the student understands concepts and feels confident in their knowledge-base.

I am a graduate of Education and I have been teaching individuals with neurodiversity (Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, etc) for over ten years. I am passionate about what I do; I teach students from K-8 how to learn any subjects using their interests and strengths in ways that are effective and long-lasting. For me, it’s fulfilling to witness learners discover how they learn and maximizing their potentials. I am married with three children, 2 girls (4 and 7) and a young man (21). I am a 29 year old lady who holds a BCom Accounting degree from UCT. I currently run my own accounting practice as a Business Accountant in Practice and am also employed as an accountant at another firm. I love accounting and tax. Hi there, I'm Garrick. I matriculated from Northcliff High school last year. I am friendly and keen to help improve others marks. I was inspired to try tutoring out as I was tutored in high school and it really helped me with improving my marks significantly.

My biggest passion has always been mathematics and you will see for the last 7 years I have worked in that industry. As a new mother I have put my career on hold and would like to have a more flexible part time job. I have always enjoyed tutoring and teaching others and want to develop this passion further. I am a language teacher who loves fun and exciting classes. The classes are fun because I use props such as puppets, music and games to engage students. Believe me, even adults love playing games in class because it doesn't feel like work when music and all sorts of other fun items are presented. When I teach online, even my dog and cat play with us in class sometimes. Everybody can learn through laughter and play. I can hardly wait to meet you and have you as a student!
