I have a BSc in Biotechnology, where my main subjects included Biochemistry, Microbiology and Biotechnology. I am passionate about the subject. I also go the extra mile in assuring the student feels confident for any form of assessment. I have a lot of patience, so don't mind explaining something over and over until it is understood.

Microbiology was one of my key passions during my undergraduate studies at university and also formed an important part of my postgraduate studies. I was fully involved in the isolation and enumeration of lipophylic bacteria that had a positive effect on the degradation of fats, oils and greases on grain distillery wastewater. Microorganisms has a vital role in the food industry and its cultivation thereof to obtain functional foods are of importance too.

I have an Bachelor of Science honors (cum laude) degree with a specialization in Microbiology. I am acquainted with both practical and theoretical knowledge. I am able to - Assist with homework and other class assignments -Develop academic strategies to improve student self-sufficiency

Hi, I am currently finishing my Masters degree in Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of Cape Town. I have a passion for biology and maths and love to pass down my knowledge on these subjects. Originally from Portugal, I can teach in English, French and Portuguese.

I have always had two passions throughout school and university- becoming a doctor and being a teacher and I have taken every opportunity through all my years of schooling and studying to pass on knowledge. I have always had a keen interest in the sciences and mathematics. Being dux of both primary school and highschool, I did not only put my focus into my acaedemia but rather, I helped those with an interest as keen as mine to get to achieve the marks of their aspirations. I am a full time student who completed my BSc Degree in Medical Bioscience and will be doing my Honours in Human Genetics as of this year.
