I am a Wits postgraduate student currently working as an NRF Intern. I have previous teaching experience as a teaching assistant at Wits University and a private tutor for primary and high school students. I am a biological sciences expert - 1st year, 2nd year, 3rd year and Honours level coursework in Life Sciences, Medical Sciences and an array of Animal, Plant and Environmental Sciences. I am proficient in high-level mathematics (calculus, trigonometry and algebra), physical science and geography. I pride myself on teaching good study techniques to young students (applicable to all subjects) and helping advanced students refine their study skills.

My name is Skye and I am 25 years old. I have a passion for teaching, I am currently studying to become a teacher (specializing in Geography and English). I believe there is always a way to make learning fun! I am adventurous and love a good sense of humour.

1. I am currently a first year Master's degree student at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa. I have excellent track record of Academic performance as I finished among the top 1% of my class as an undergraduate with a Vice Chancellor Award during my graduation. Also, I am a Project Management Professional, PMP and an Engineer. 2. I have over 4 years tutoring experience in high school and A-level domain. My personal attributes that makes me an outstanding tutor includes: effective communication (oral, verbal, written) skills, time management, analytical skill, respect for people and showing empathy. 3. I enjoy tutoring as I derive pleasure and satisfaction in sharing my acquired knowledge. Also, I believe my efforts tends to promote socio-economic growth of the Nation. 4.
