I am a professional with a great passion for education and therewith the education of our youth. I have obtained my engineering degree from the University of Pretoria and therefore I have strong knowledge of scientific and mathematical concepts. I have previously tutored and I enjoyed the experience and the achievement of seeing my students excel. It gave me the greatest satisfaction when I could share my knowledge knowing that I could be of great positive influence to the life of my students. I have learned to explain concepts in different ways that will enable students to understand more easily. With my practical experience I can also provide students with real life uses for concepts in mathematics, science and engineering drawings. Lastly I am currently 25 years old and therefore I still have memory of what influenced my high school career and what challenges are present in the lives of young adults. Therefore, I feel like I can relate to the students and teach in a dynamic way which is understandable from their point of view.

I have been a tutor for 6 years. I have tutored in subjects like Mathematics, English, Afrikaans, history and business studies. I have tutored grades 2,4,8,10 and 11. I have also tutored students with learning disabilities such as ADHD, dyslexia and Autism Spectrum Disorder. I thoroughly enjoy being a tutor because I loved school and I am currently studying to be a special education teacher.

Hi , I am a third year BSc Advanced Math and computer science student. I am very good at what I am doing , and would like to give back to others what I had when I was younger. I did study one year of Architecture , but I am a math guy not someone creative.

Aside from having in depth knowledge of Marketing/Business and a passion for sales, I have over 30 plant children a very rude cat and will never say no to a cheese platter.

For the most of my career life I have worked in the financial sector. I got to exercise my love for teaching when I was working for Nedbank as a Team Leader Client Services, where training/teaching/coaching was a big part of my responsibilities. My favourite subject since high school is Accounting. I got my Facilitator certificate in 2012 & am currently doing last year of BCom Banking. I am energetic, accountable and results driven individual with the love for transferring knowledge, motivate & inspire others.

I matriculated in 2014 with a 83% average and I was involved in many spheres at school (music, sport, first aid, leadership). After this I took a gap year where I did 2 qualifications in coaching sport. In 2016 I started with my studies towards becoming a CA and I am currently doing my Honours while teaching a few classes at the gym. One day I would love to lecture at a university and I find that I really enjoy teaching, tutoring and even instructing at the gym. My favourite part of tutoring is seeing students light up when a concept they have been struggling with “clicks”. I always try to use explanations that students can relate to because I believe that if you understand something it’s much easier than learning it and this has proven to be a successful way of teaching with past students that I have helped.

I am 21 year old postgraduate student at the University of Johannesburg. I have a graduated with a BA in School Subject Areas, majoring in Afrikaans and Historical studies.i have also completed my PGCE diploma and am a qualified teacher. I am currently working on my Honors degree in Afrikaans. I am an only child who has been living in Johannesburg my entire life.

I hold a PhD in Statistics with vast experience in mathematics and statistics from secondary to university level. I have more than 10 years teaching and lecturing experience. I specialise in Metric level mathematics, engineering mathematics (UNISA and other universities), quantitative methods, statistics, etc.
