I am currently studying Commerce at WITS, and currently working as a part-time promoter at Time Square Pretoria. I have a 4 years Tutoring experience mainly focusing mainly on Mathematics and French. I enjoy tutoring because I am passionate to share my knowledge to others and help them grow and discover the best of them. I have completed my metric with a bachelor merit. I was appointed as senior lecturer at Unisa in 1980, promoted to associate professor in 1988, and to a full professor in 1996. In my capacity as a lecturer in History I taught my subject to undergraduate as well as postgraduate students. I supervised 12 masters and doctoral students. Since Unisa is a distance education university, I produced study guides and tutorial letters for students. As a senior staff member, I was academic as well as administrative course leader, and performed departmental duties, including assessment and appointment of staff members. I undertook lecturing and research visits to Copenhagen, London, the Netherlands and various universities and archives in the United States. I love mathematics with all my heart. I would love to pass my knowledge to other peoples.

I firmly believe that I am an extremely hard working teacher and a very loyal human being. I put in a lot of effort with regards to learners understanding the content, as that is the motivation for me. I am well organized and have taught at a few schools of different social circumstances. My teaching style, I could therefore adapt to meet the different needs of their learning styles. I respect all religions, cultures and I therefore feel I won’t have a problem tutoring any learner. I have also completed a Mathematical course from AMESA that focuses on the most difficult mathematical problems from grade 4-9. I have also completed my Bachelors in Education degree at Stellenbosch University.

I am currently in my 2nd year BED at the University of South Africa. In my first year, I had achieved 7 distinctions out of 10 modules. I have a passion for languages and one day hope to become an English educator. My other areas of interest include business subjects like Economics and Business Studies. All of which i have passed with distinction in high school. I hope to pass on my knowledge through tutoring.
