Hi , my name is Betsie (short for Elizabeth - so some students call me Miss Elizabeth). After working as an accountant and financial manager for more than 20 years I took a sabbatical to look after my niece and discovered that I loved working with children! I joined Gutsy Tutoring (now Turtlejar) as a tutor in 2017 and have tutored children and adults in a wide variety of subjects. I believe that people have different learning styles and preferences and try to take this into account when working with students. It is a great privilege to assist others on their learning journey and it would be my pleasure to join you or your child.

I am a travel expert, having worked in the tourism industry for over 3 years. I have intense knowledge of South Africa and Botswana as destinations. I am very good in Geography also, especially GIS and map skills.

I am Lizbeth based in South Africa. I am a teacher by profession. I have been teaching in combined school and still working with primary and grade 8 learners. In my career I teach English grade 4,7 and 8, also Economic and Management Sciences grade 9. I enjoy writing or assisting in essays and language. Students who need my service will have to contact me after hours between 15:00 till late. It would be my pleasure to work with learners who need my help.

I am a kind, patient and ambitious person who has developed a mature and responsible approach to any task or situation I am presented with. I love working with children and I am passionate about teaching and working with children.

I am currently studying to become Foundation Phase teacher at Embury Collage. I am in my third year of studying and loving becoming a teacher. I am energetic and enthusiastic about what I do. I am hoping to go in to remedial teaching as I love working with smaller groups of children and being able to help them more personally and being able to work to their needs.

I am a Bcom LLB graduate. I was admitted as as attorney in 2012 and have extensive experience in drafting, managing, mentoring and problem-solving. I am currently self-employed as a legal consultant. I enjoy teaching my skills, and would like to tutor on a part-time basis.

I’m about creating a study friendly environment to enhance growth through transferring information with other, and I do this everyday. I have been Tutoring since I was in High school, if there’s an impact I make and I intend to always make, that would to enhance learning. It comes natural.

I am an Accounting graduate and I am very passionate with teaching accounting both at high school and university level. I obtained a Bachelor of Accounting Science degree from the University of South African and achieved a distinction (92%) in high school accounting.
