My name is Nicole Brophy am I 25 years of age, currently studying  child Physcology. I have previous tutoring experience in English, Afrikaans and maths literacy. I have attend targeting talent at wits university for two years which was an academic programme for maths and English and physical science. I enjoy tutoring because it allows me the necessary platform to help individuals excel in their school work and gives me the opportunity to engage with individuals by getting to know different characters as a whole. I am eager to make a difference in individuals lives and look forward to becoming apst old the team.

I am a very diligent and punctual person. I work easily with all ages and cultures and can motivate people to excel in what they do. I am very respectful of all people and approach life with an open mind. I encourage others to pursue their goals with passion, hard work and perseverance. I have completed a degree with distinction in Theology, and am currently doing a degree in Psychology, therefore I have plenty experience in getting results in the academic world. I have taught classical and general guitar lessons privately, and have plenty experience in teaching from being in the ministry for many years.

I love working with young kids from till the age of sixteen years, i'm always willing to help where needed and listening as well as advising the younger generation. I invest time in knowing the people i work with.

I am currently studying at Varsity College in hopes of achieving my doctoral qualification in psychology. I recieved 5 distinctions in my matric results along with full colours in academics during the year. I love literature, the english language, animals and I am a people person. I have experience with children through babysitting as well as having done work at a primary school aftercare. My name is Catherine and I love to learn! My belief is that all students require different methods of learning because not all students are the same. With the correct skills in learning and studying any student can excel. It all comes down to routine, good learning habits, correct study methods and memory techniques. When a student actively takes charge of their studies, their success engenders an enjoyment for learning which in turn encourages further success. Every individual is unique and no one study method works for everyone. Understanding the learner's strengths and weaknesses can assist in finding out what techniques will work best for learning. When the right study method is being used, memory follows. My testament to truth of the above statement is in my own achievements. I was an average school learner who struggled with many subjects. But a combination of determination and hard work, continuous study and a development of good study habits and methods brought me to the end of my Matric year with seven distinctions. This was not something I could have achieved without the help of good tutors and teachers. I have an Honour's degree in Jewellery Design and Manufacturing and I am currently studying for a BA in Ancient History and Classical Culture.

I am extremely passionate about language, poetry and reading. I have had the opportunity to study English at a university level and it has been amazing. I am good with language comprehension and language usage as well as understanding the dept of literature and poetry analysis.
