I have always been in involved in teaching and developing skills in one form or another whether it was when volunteering to work with pre-school children in Minnesota, USA or as a senior English HL language facilitator in Johannesburg. Having been an English Home Language teacher for 10 years at senior high school level, I have become passionate about skill building.

I am an energetic, ambitious, mature, positive and hardworking individual, who always strives to achieve the highest standard possible, at any given task. I posses excellent communication skills and I have the ability and experience to relate to a wide range of people. My greatest strengths are my research, communication and writing skills. I am currently a student at the University of Pretoria in the BA Languages (English Studies) program. While I am a student I want to gain valuable experience that will help me with the development of my professional career.

I am currently finishing my bachelors degree at Monash. I have already finished French 3rd year at University. I am passionate about teaching, helping and the french language.

I have a passion for music and fashion (not one genre and no specific style). I strive at pushing myself to my utmost limits, no matter what I do, and don’t give up even when it’s the only option. My passion is helping learners to get from where they are, academically, to where they need to be - and further! My experience includes private tutoring for Gr 1 - 12 in English and Afrikaans (HL and FAL). I am the mother of three grown sons, have my own transport and enjoy interacting with families in order to get to know the learner better - which in turn makes the tutoring process easier and happier for both myself and the learner. I make use of various styles of teaching - depending on the learner's needs. Exam prep is a time of fun exercises in the form of quizzes, multiple choice questions and verbal answering.

I am hard working, friendly, helpful and adaptable. I can persevere through challenging circumstances and work well under pressure. I like to constantly be busy. my HOBBIES/INTERESTS are Gym, friends, outdoors, children, socializing, meeting new people, and helping others obtain their possible best.
