English as a foreign Language tutors near me

This is a new area of interest as I have recently qualified as a TEFL teacher. Although I have three years teaching experience and am a native English speaker, as well as writing English at a high level, I have not yet taught English to foreigners. However, I have travelled to 33 countries around the world and have learnt well how to deal with non-native English speakers in how to get each other's point across. I have been exposed to English teaching methods through the TEFL course.

I am a qualified English and Languages teacher. I also have a lot of experience teaching ESL/EFL, as I worked as an ESL teacher in China and then worked as an online English teacher for Chinese children.

I passed Grade 12 English 1st Language (HG) with a "B" symbol (70-79%). I have been conducting research since 3rd year university level in Geography where writing skills, grammar, and a more in-depth understanding of English is required.

I obtained a TEFL qualification (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) in 2011, and have had many years of experience teaching English as a foreign language to both children and adults since then. I am aware of the common issues that students encounter when learning English and am able to offer solutions and learning strategies to support you.

I am passionate, but also have the patience necessary for teaching a language. i love to share my knowledge and my greatest thing i wish to see is a learner excelling and reaching his/her full potential. I am also an English home language speaker and therefore have all the possible knowledge that is required of me. I also make sure that before every session I am up to date and know the content well.

I am interested in many aspects of my field of education and sport. I’m extremely motivated, passionate and disciplined and I find it interesting to be involved in every level of teaching. I like to be challenged professionally and emotionally and I am looking for a position where I can grow and learn more about my field, as well as build and contribute to the education world. I recently completed my TEFL course and would love to teach both local and international students.

Learning English as a foreign language is quite interesting and can be a big advantage for anyone since English is an international language. Not only did I complete my TEFL-course with a distinction, I have also worked abroad (in France) where English was taught as a foreign language. I also studied French, which is definitely a foreign language for me, so I am completely aware of the challenges learning a foreign language can have. I took patience to learn it, and therefore I have patience when it comes to helping people.
